What you get

  • Budget posts in stainless steel on lighter 10.3 kg bases (bungee tether only)
  • Rubber-edged bases protect floors and can be rolled rather than lifted
  • Lower fixing: bottom cross rail (gives a tapping rail for cane users) or lower-cost bungee tether
  • Pole-to-pole widths of 1200, 1500 or 1800 mm; flat-packed, spanner included

Questions

Quick answers about cafe barrier kit (hardware only).

How many posts come in a kit?

A run of sections always needs one more post than sections: a 1-section kit has 2 posts, a 3-section kit has 4 posts, and so on. Banners are sold separately or as part of the complete kit.

Cross rail or bungee: which do I need?

A bottom cross rail is a solid rail low down that people using a white cane can detect, and many councils ask for one in pavement licence conditions. The bungee tether costs less and suits private land or indoor use.

Do I need permission to put barriers on the pavement?

Usually yes. Tables, chairs and barriers on a public highway need a pavement licence from your local council in England (Wales and Scotland have their own schemes). Check your council's conditions on layout and barrier type before you order.

Is it cheaper to order more?

Yes. The unit price drops at 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 units, and the price table on this page shows the total for each quantity. For more than 20 or deliveries to several addresses, ask us for a quote.

How long does it take?

We usually dispatch in about 5 working days from your order, then courier delivery takes a further day or two to most UK mainland addresses.

Is anything printed?

No, this item is supplied unprinted. If you want posters, panels or graphics to go with it, see the related printed products on this page or ask us for a quote.

Can you supply a custom size, shape or colour?

Often yes, usually as a made-to-order run with a minimum quantity. Send us the details through the quote form or WhatsApp and we will check what is possible and price it.

How do I order?

Choose your options and quantity above the price, add it to the basket and pay securely online. For purchase orders, account customers or several delivery addresses, ask us for a quote instead.
