Shop by category
- Cafe Barriers: posts on weighted bases with printed banners between them, sold as complete kits from one to five sections, as printed banners on their own, or as single posts, bases and parts.
- Flags & Flying Banners: feather, teardrop and rectangle flags with pole, bag and the right base, high-rise forecourt kits, a giant pole flag, wall and window flags, aisle flag arms and banner frames that hold a standard eyeleted banner taut.
- Gazebos & Parasols: pop-up aluminium gazebos in 3 x 3, 4.5 x 3 and 6 x 3 m with a printed canopy and full or half walls, weights and accessories, and printed garden parasols for pub and cafe tables.
- Floor, Bollard & Projecting Signs: indoor floor stickers, printed floor mats and bar runners, covers that turn car park bollards into adverts, double-sided projecting shop signs, stand-off fixings and point-of-sale holders.
Most people decide whether to walk into a shop, cafe or showroom within a few seconds of passing it. The pavement, the forecourt and the first metre inside the door do more selling than any advert, and that is where everything in this section goes. It sits alongside our printed banners for the same reason: a banner is only as good as whatever holds it up where people can see it.
Which item for which job
- Outdoor seating on a pavement or terrace: a cafe barrier kit. Two sections cover a small frontage; add sections as the terrace grows. Stainless steel posts suit a bright frontage, satin black posts suit a dark shopfront.
- Being seen from the road or across a car park: a flying banner. A large feather or teardrop flag stands well above parked cars; a high-rise kit lifts the flag on a base that sits under a car tyre.
- Markets, shows, sports days and festivals: a printed gazebo, with flags on gazebo-leg brackets either side and a printed parasol for a seating area.
- Inside the shop: floor stickers for queue lines, offers and directions, a printed entrance mat, bar runners on the counter and showcard holders on the shelf edge.
- Making a frontage visible from along the street: a projecting sign on the wall at right angles to the shop, or a wall-mounted flag kit.
- A banner that has to look tidy for months: a banner frame, which keeps a standard eyeleted banner flat and lets you swap the print without new fixings.
Printed or blank
Many products come in a hardware-only version, for example barrier posts, flag bases or gazebo weights, and a printed version made from your artwork. Where a product has both, the choice is an option on the product page and the price changes as you pick. Flags, barrier banners, gazebo canopies and walls are printed in full colour; some items can be printed on both sides, which matters for a barrier seen from the street and from the tables.
Prices for one shop or a chain
Prices drop at the real quantity breaks shown on each product, so a chain ordering the same flag or barrier for every branch sees the lower price straight away. Some options have a minimum quantity, and the page only offers quantities that can be ordered. For larger roll-outs, custom shapes, colours that are not listed or delivery to several addresses, send us the details for a quote.
Permission and safety
Anything placed on a public pavement usually needs the council's permission. Councils in England grant pavement licences for tables, chairs and barriers, and many also have rules on flags and signs on the footway. Projecting and illuminated signs can need advertisement consent from the planning authority. Rules differ between councils and between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so check with your local council before you put anything on a public pavement. Keep the clear walking width your council asks for, weight flags and gazebos properly, and take flying banners and gazebos down in strong winds.
Artwork and delivery
Upload your artwork on the product page. Every upload gets an automatic check of size and resolution; if you want a person to look over the file before it prints, add File Check. If you do not have artwork, our design service can set it up. Items are made or picked to order and then delivered by courier; production times are shown on each product. Barriers, gazebos and large flag kits arrive in several boxes, so allow space to unpack.

Shopfront & Display: questions answered
What is in the Shopfront & Display range at Banners Printed?
Cafe barrier kits, banners and parts; feather, teardrop and rectangle flags with poles and bases; banner frames; printed gazebos, weights and parasols; floor stickers, floor mats and bar runners; bollard covers, projecting shop signs, stand-off fixings and point-of-sale holders.
Can these be printed with my logo?
Yes. Flags, barrier banners, gazebo canopies and walls, parasols, floor graphics, mats, bollard covers and projecting signs are printed in full colour from your artwork. Choose the printed option on the product page and upload your file.
Do I need permission for cafe barriers or flags on the pavement?
Usually yes. Cafe barriers on a public pavement normally need a pavement licence from the council, and flags and signs on the footway can need permission too. Rules vary by council, so check with your local council before you order.
Which flag base do I need?
A ground spike for grass, a cross base with a water bag for paving, a water-fill tank base for any surface, a flat plate indoors, and a wheel base that sits under a tyre for car forecourts. The base is an option on each flag.
Can I order the same display for every branch?
Yes. Prices fall at the quantity breaks shown on each product, and for big roll-outs we can quote delivery to several addresses.
Do you sell spare parts and replacement prints?
Yes. Replacement flags, barrier banners, posts, bases, gazebo weights and fixings are listed in each category, so you can refresh a display without buying it all again.
How do I send artwork?
Upload it on the product page when you order. Files get an automatic size and resolution check; add File Check if you want a person to review the file before printing.
